• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Chase Case #3 (2010 version)

I think I want to bump west a bit and get a little closer to that 500mb speed max. Where you hanging out, Rob? I think I'll join you in Joplin if you're game for a late breakfast.

I'm going to play this one closer to home in Middle TN. Staying put for now near Manchester, TN and seeing how this progresses east before I decide. I've been bitten too many times by these systems screaming east, I went west, and the best show was closer to home.

Saw a nice shelf go through this morning in Rogers, AR. Gonna sit tight here until the next round of data is out. Thinking about a possible readjustment north a bit out of lake country.

Going to try my best to stay away from the forrests and hills as best I can. My room was rocked this morning in Paris, TX by the passing MCS. After grabbing a Monster BFC and some McD's breakfast, I'm going east to Texarkana then go up I-30 to Arkadelphia, AR to await the next round of data. Keeping my eye out for perhaps an embedded tornado in this MCS on the way over. Could get a catch by lunch if I'm lucky!

12z data pkg says Arkansas/Mississippi watch out...I am headed up I-20 into Arkansas and on towards the Delta area. LZK & JAN wind profiles are broad loops. Gulp. Pattern recognition says set up camp at/near Greenville MS
and wait more data.

Lucky pick with Texarkana last night. I'm moving East today on Hwy 82 toward Greenville, MS. Expect action to move rapidly east and I want to be half way across the state by 1800Z. Don't know where LZK is but it is a heck of a profile.

Going to zap east to Wickes, AR although I have a bad feeling about this move. Hopefully I am able to be around for the next update and not miss out on an opportunity.
