• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Ok, I'm up early in Missouri after sleeping in the back of the van. Given the better moisture along the well established dryline, I'm going to opt for the southern target and take 44 out of MO into OK. I'm going to make for Sayre, OK and move into the TX panhandle later in the afternoon/evening if need be. I'm favoring OK/TX panhandle over KS given the stronger southwest flow aloft and better moisture. I think the other play is probably way up in the South Dakota where the jet has another shortwave moving through.

After spending the night in Kansas City, I will be heading to Topeka, KS for breakfast. I am going to play north along the stationary front with some enlarged low level hodographs on any storms that can ride along the front. Besides, there will be too many traffic jams in the southern play. :)

From ICT will head west on 54 as I said but turn north out of Pratt and sit in Great Bend, KS. For the next update.

On second thought after deeper analysis.... I believe heading south out of Pratt to the Woodward, OK area is the way to go. This way when the next update comes out it still puts me in play for either the panhandles (my original target) or southern Kansas (the nagging obsession).

I am going to stay put in Guymon for the time being but I am anticipating heading a bit E and S later to the TX panhandle. Directional shear is looking amazing on almost all levels. Will await the 15z updates and then hit the road if necessary...

Had breakfast at the hotel here in AMA, and after looking over the 12z, am content to just go back to bed for a couple more hours of sleep. Someone please wake me up when the 15z data comes in.

Alright, I am late to this. Yesterday Danny Neal tried to get me to join in, and I didn't. I told him my initial target was Vernon TX.

With that said, I would have driven down and stayed most likely near Oklahoma City.

I'm still liking the Red River today, (although I didn't really read the SPC text), maybe Hollis, OK. I'm hanging out at the Loves/Subway in Hollis, OK.

We are leaving Wichita and going to head to Clinton, OK and stop for lunch and make a decision to go west into the Panhandle or head south to the Red River.

I'm going to stay along the Red River... but close enough to make a run to the panhandle.

Put me in Lawton, Ok for now.

Got to this late, but I would have been (and still would be) in Altus, OK.

The more I look at it though.... the more that OFB sitting along the RR appeals to me.... Maybe I will continue south out of Woodward, OK. I am going to nudge south to I 40 by 19-20z. Throw in Elk City by 20z
