Q-Vector

Does anyone know where I can find DIVQ charts online (particularly for layers rather than a given height)? I would consider GEMPAK but it's not mac compatible as far as I'm aware and I'm not even certain it has DIVQ.

Also, can someone verify my thinking here? Looking at a q vector convergence map, one would look for larger positive values which indicates rising motion. Looking at a q vector divergence map (DIVQ), one would look for larger negative values to indicate rising motion.

GEMPAK is Mac compatible (two ways, direct and through VMWare) and can compute div-Q. I'm not a maccie though so not sure on details.
