Thanks, Jeff. At this point, I'm going to give myself the benefit of the doubt and say that I noticed the tower going up by Gate, OK, and am now on that cell. Got another cell within reach to my south.

It looks like there are two waves of storms firing up: this first band along the eastern side of the panhandles, which I think are going up in an area of heightened instability, and the storms to the west that are initiating along the dryline. Nice to have options.

There are storms that are firing off just West and South of my location here in Kinsley, KS. May want to move further west and Start following a storm. I don't know whether to go to Dodge or not. Have decided to stay put in Kinsley, KS.

Wow what a chase I am having. Watching the wedge 9 miles ne of Silverton Tx. I am going to stick with it a while longer and might drop south when this one dies to hit the other cell.

Storm near Winona at 23Z is my target. In Gern, KS, at 23:15Z and onto county roads to (try to) follow.

A/o 23Z I know this day also. The synoptics are similar to another day about 3 1/2 weeks later that I thought it was and checked when the CC clock was at about 18Z.

I don't like how the cells here in the eastern OK panhandle are lining up. I'm going to continue to drop south on US 283 to intercept the stuff coming up in the northeast TX panhandle.
