• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Chase Case #4 (2010 Version)

Hays, KS is a reasonable drive for me to grab a room and check data in the morning. Decent road options North and West from here as well!

A day two moderate... impressive. Looks like a high plains chase with that trough coming but a the best moisture sitting over the central plains currently. Start me off in Wichita, KS

Looks to me like the initial impulse creating height falls and low pressure over the Northern High Plains/eastern Rockies is already occluding and a second pulse of energy will rotate out farther south over the Plains. I'll put my money initially on Garnett, KS.

Right now I'm liking northern Kansas for some action. I'm on my way to Wichita, KS (from my current location in Fort Worth) where I will be catching a few hours sleep before seeing what the morning data brings.

Looks like a great setup for tomorrow. I think my target will be well within driving range in the morning so I'm gonna stay home here in Englewood, CO. I like W KS tomorrow as a potential target. Will assess data in the morning.

I think I'll set up in Coalgate, OK for the night. I don't want to get moisture starved. Waiting for next update....

Heading to Hays, Kansas tonight to get ready for a good day tomorrow.

I see tomorrow's action as up north nearer the surface low that looks to be somewhere in southern SD. The moisture is already backing northwest through NE. I'll stay the night in O'Neill, NE, and not be surprised if I end up heading toward Valentine.
