I made three trips to the Great Plains this year, all with less-than-mediocre results. As for chase photo/video successes, it was the Midwest all the way in 2014. Missouri and Illinois have never failed to deliver since I moved out here.

And who can forget the Denver storm?

Since the season sucked (badly), Jari and I spent a week of our chasecation in Vegas, Zion National Park, The Grand Canyon, and meteor crater. My favorite picture from that trip, since it was more memorable than the storms in 2014.
