• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Chase Case #5 (2010 Version)

Was on my way to Stratford TX from GCK, but have decided to hold up in Guymon, OK for the time being. Things got a lot more juicy after going thru Liberal, and want to keep an eye on the boundary in sw KS. Have good road options from here to head in any direction.

Sitting tight in Seiling, OK. I like the moisture and the CU field in NW OK. I also am noticing the boundary from SW KS through OK and into AR. Waiting for initiation.

Stay on target, stay on target... still in Shattuck, OK Looks like a bit of an outflow boundary moved through... will have to keep an eye on that.

I'm sitting tight in Woodward, OK. I like the boundary evident in the visible satellite across northwest OK. Surface dews are better to the southeast, but expect them to advect toward my area this afternoon.

With southeast storm motions I want to be a little south of where I think things will pop. Heading east on I-40 from Amarillo to Sayre, OK

Looking at the cu field popping up in the panhandles, I'm going to spend a few minutes chatting with the chasers converging here in Childress and then move myself up to Sayre, OK and get downstream for those cu.

Good day all,

I will take it a bit farther west and wait out in Mooreland, OK (just east of the "crowds" in Woodward).

Chris,
Funny I was thinking the same thing before my last update. But, the orientation of US-270 going through Woodward would play pefectly if things do fire in the area.

Loaded up and leaving from home here in Greensburg KS, short trip south to Coldwater KS, will sit on top the hill 5 miles south of Coldwater at intersection of KS1 and US160 so i have routes ready in all directions to play from DDC to Woodward (this is a normal for me, get some redman chew a large diet coke and get outta town before the wife calls and asks me to do "honey dos" i'm only 20 miles from home but i'm in chase mode now! )
