We just sat through that storm although we were in the core (well - our house was in the core)......not much to tell. I'm not surprised at the funnel reports - but it was far from organized when it passed through southern portions of Conway.

An interesting note - we went onto our back porch and inspected the backside of this storm - no anvil. Mushy tops.

Tony Cook just west of Star City, AR with intense couplet inbound! Tony said he was trying to get positioned. Road network looks a bit difficult with this strong fast moving couplet nearing him quickly. Hope he fares well.

Correction: Zoom in of Street Atlas shows that he may have some road options? But not sure which are paved.

according to GRLEVEL3, 36 counties in Arkansas are currently under tornado warnings as supercells fire across the state. gonna be a long night for them folks.

The storm in SE Arkansas near Star City looks really good on radar. This is the one I'd be watching out for.

Looks like the storms in AR in general are starting to struggle against the fading daylight/lessening instability, and decent 700 mb cap.
