3-28-07 NOW: SD/NE/KS/OK/TX

The Donley County, TX storm is now showing two areas of rotation, though it appears it isn't as intense as it was a moment ago. Can anyone confirm if that storm has produced tornadoes in the past 30-45 minutes? I saw where Justin said there was a large tornado associated with that storm when it was SW of Clarendon. Just wondering if that is a confirmed report or not.

I meant to put NW, but that storm has a mean hook on it. The AMA radar went out for a brief moment, so all the storms appear to jump on the radar. I'm at work on a US NAVY computer, so I dont have the best of resources, but I'm goin off of NWS calls, cause we have a way to call directly into the office, unlike the public. So, I may not have all my ducks in a row, but I'm doing the best I can. So far, Hall County appears to be getting the brunt of the blow. Hope to see good footgae from that county alone.

I have a friend on that southernmost supercell. He said, as does an LSR, that the tornado roped out around 712pm. He said that before it did it was a pretty stout tornado and clearer near the base so he could see a number of vorticies wrapping around the funnel. Also mentioned 80+mph winds in the RFD. Nothing as of now, trying to reposition. Said it was beginning to get a lowering again though.

Thats the tornado I was referring to earlier. Still shows impressive velocity and on base reflectivity, its one of the best hooks I've seen all day. Ironic its heading towards a town called Jericho. Also, looks like some activity is trying to initiate on the dry line SW of Lubbock

All: Please remember to include the city or county and state with all of your storm locations. It's hard to keep track of what's what. Thanks/

Besides the Texas Panhandle tornadoes, other tornadoes now reported via NWS warnings and storm spotters:

* Northeastern Meade County, Kansas northwest of Fowler
* Decatur County, Kansas near Jennings KS
* Beaver County, Oklahoma east of Elmwood (large tornado)

Nice hook echo on the storm in Donley County, bet it gets torn warned again soon.

I just got off the phone with Russel Parsons, he saw a wedge tornado in Beaver County - it's roping out now.

Sheriff's in Beaver County, TX were tracking TWO tornadoes with the storm moving through the county.

Also, Goodland, KS tornadic storm still showing a rain-wrapped tornado at low to mid levels. It is now passing over or 1-2 miles or so East of Goodland. Good luck, Good Land.
