3-28-07 NOW: SD/NE/KS/OK/TX

Tornado on the ground W of Doge city being reported by a local spotter for KAKE ch 10 in ICT. Spotter reporting tornado going from a rope to a stove pipe to a "monster wedge" in the last 10 minutes. This is a very destructive and long lived tornado.

Edit: Tornado still on the ground. Showing up perfectley on radar.

Outside of the tornados, new and broken line of storms stretches from downtown Amarillo, down to Hobbs along the dry line(TX) and cold front(NM). This is likely the backedge of this event developing.

Hey Gang,

Looks like the Goodland, KS tornado was a long-lived and damaging one. It is still on the ground and producing a CONFIRMED "LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS" tornado heading toward Bird City, KS.

2 very large tornadoes on the ground North of I-70 S of St. Francis, Ks and City, Ks being reported by local spotters being relayed through KAKE ch. 10. I cant find a feed can someone help me with a search for a live feed?

KAKE 10 Spotter reporting a large stove pipe to his left headed for St. Francis, KS. To his right he was observing a large wedge headed for Bird City,KS. Jay Prayter continues to stress that there is still 2 large tornadoes on the ground.

Edit: Confirmed tornado on the ground in Meade Co, Ks.

The Goodland, KS storm has a classic hook echo.

GR2Analyst's rotation algorithm with default parameter settings has had the supercell in eastern Cheyenne County, KS, at its second highest TVS level. I only remember seeing it higher in the radar data from the May 1999 Moore tornado. I'd say the radar data is backing up the storm reports for sure.
If the tornado remains on the ground and stays on it's present course, it will cause significant damage to Bird City, KS.

Justin Wilcox is north of Goodland Kansas reporting large tornado on the ground at least 1/2 mile wide just south of Bird City Kansas.
