Seeing the many pictures of hail that I've seen - plus what I have encountered - is there any web page that explains how/why hail gets its shape and structure?
Round vs jagged?
Clam-shaped vs disc-shaped?
etc...
etc.......

Examples/explinations?
What is changing about the updraft to change the shape of hail?
