the end of the atlantic basin hurricane season?

I agree with many of the posts above, however, given the almost atrocious amount of shear in the Caribbean and lack of organization I would seriously doubt anything in the near future coming. The last several years have been like a freak show with Nov/Dec storms so nothing is a definite yet. Personally, I would tend to believe that things are going to end within a week or so if we don't see any development just because climo favors a decline in systems.

AKA: It's over.

A-Men (unless your Taiwanese) ;-(

Tut Tut!

Never say Never...

GFS, NOGAPS, UKMET, GFDL Still builds a tropical system out of 94L North West of the Yucatan in three days time - nothing dramatic- perhaps a TS at best, but the models still make it form ;)

We shall see...

Big Fan

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] Don't give up too soon, there is a lot of convection across the Caribbean. Also the favorable MJO is beginning to take effect for the first time in many weeks. Im holding out some hope for the next ten days after that I think its curtains for this year.

Wow - I am amazed.

TD#15 ... But where is it? A "FISH" storm - Another fallacy of 2007.

Above: Is the hint of WHO will see TD#15 (or whatever it becomes), or anything in the ATLANTIC.

Or, in a more modest sense ... You would have to be one of THESE PEOPLE to see ANYTHING worthwhile chasing in the tropics ;-)
