Central Oklahoma is in some places upwards of 2 or 3 inches below normal rainfall for this month alone, after being close to normal last month and well below normal in January and February.

Current forecasts are showing potentially high rainfall totals for Thursday-Saturday for NM, OK, and TX. We can only hope this to be the case to eliminate the burn bans and try to bust this drought.

I'm all for drought relief in Oklahoma, as well as the rest of the plains and west. We need a winter with much ABOVE normal precip, and an above normal rainfall spring in the entire west. In some areas the drught isnt as bad as it was a few years ago, but it's still hurting the economies of the west.
