• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Woke up lateish so missed the 12z and caught the 15z stuff. Looks like trying to play the low development near SW Kansas will pay off today. I'm going to drive to get to Greensburg, KS and wait for development there.

In Olathe at 16:30Z. Sure wish I could see current radar and/or vis satellite, because the 15Z satellite suggests that the developments near Pratt could be the start of the Real Deal in a few hours. Bailing on Chanute and lunch, and heading down the freeway to El Dorado, KS, by 18:30Z for the next update.

I haven't been on ST all morning, so I just am now seeing 12, 15, and 16Z outlooks. Since Western KS is pretty much out of play for me at this point, I'm going to sit tight in Des Moines and play along the Surface low to my west in a couple hours.

I'll take a shower first, clean out the truck, gas up, and head over to a restaurant to sit down with coffee and BACON and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Dropping south to catch the southern part of that squall line. Lets hope it produces something!

EDIT: Towards Wichita, KS

Lot's of stuff going up to my north and to my west. The radar images are tiny, but I guess I'll pick a cell and start north on 35 out of Des Moines towards Clear Lake/Mason City, IA.

Have I mentioned lately how much I hate Iowa?

Going east to play the south end of the line in southern Kansas near Pratt.

EDIT: Disregard Pratt, KS... switching further south to the development near Alva, OK and keep trying to play the tail on this line.
