07/17/07 NOW: UT / ID / NV / WY / MT

Looks like things could get interesting here in the Northwest. Already 2 Meso Discussions with Watch's Possible for Damaging winds and Severe Hail. Any thoughts, Nowcasts, etc are greatly welcomed. As my primary target is Southeast Idaho Id like to hear what you all think about a possible severe weather event.

Will update this as the day Goes on.

Now: Thunderstorms developing just to the south of my Area. Will be keeping an eye on these as Lifted Indices althought weak are -3 and could climb as the day goes on with Cape exepcted to climb to 1000-1500. Hopefully something will evolve soon enough.

New Mesoscale for MT/WY. Will check this out...

2 Severe Thunderstorms thus far. Nickel sized hail being the biggest concern along with strong winds. The Severe Thunderstorms are located in (central Idaho) North Central Custer County (city of challis) and also in the Southwest Corner of Idaho in Central Twin Falls.
