• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

I forgot to grab the SFC charts for 18Z, 21Z on the 4th and 00Z and 03Z on the 5th pertinent to Greensburg. The NHC archive has them but with few surface stations and I wish to perform a mesoanalysis.

Anyone got them? Hand plots are OK.

Thanks,
Mike

Add the Arnett tornado & Supercell in there as well.

Actually we should have a seperate thread in the post storm analysis section where people can post surface charts radar images SAT etc. from these big days while they are nowcasting. Alot of us in the field just forget sometimes or at that particular point dont have net access. While I was on the Arnett tornado I only had threatnet going and was too busy filming the tornado to think to save any radar etc. I have all the watches mesos day 1s etc. I just need the actual radar SAT and surface anaylisis etc. I also have the links for archived data but its usually not detailed and or posted till days later.
Just a forum to post storm disc. for nowcasters to post images without posting them in the NOW section would be nice.
If anyone has anything like this for the Arnhett storm posting it here or sending me an email would be great. I would greatly appreciate it.

Funny how things work I saved vis sat images every hour from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm on 5-4, i've never done that before. Kinda cool going back and looking at them. If I can learn how to put them on the site I will just need to know where.
