Last May, I had chased a tornadic thunderstorm in the foothills and piedmont of North Carolina, and was able to get several good shots of the storm with my camera. I was looking into researching why atmospheric conditions were favorable for that storm to develop, but I am not sure where to start. Could anyone direct me to websites that offer past data maps and charts (like 500mb charts, 750mb charts, hodographs, 0-3km shear values, maps with 850mb temps/dew points/wind speed, MLCAPE values, ect...anything that could be used to analyze severe weather events). Any links or help would be appreciated! Thanks!
