Hello, I will be writing a brief research paper (8 pages) on tornado forecasting for an English class. I also have to give a presentation to the class. I am looking for some images for that presentation, mainly forecast models that "stick out" or what you look for during a sever weather outbreak. Shear, CAPE, perfect hodographs/skew-t soundings, troughs (I already have a negatively tilted trough), something along those lines. Ill see what exactly I need later when I begin to put the presentation together.
Also if anyone has any scholarly sources for tornado/severe weather forecasting, such as journal articles from the AMS or whatever, they would be greatly appreciated. I will be using 3 of Tim's books, as well as Mike Hollingsheads Storm Structure 101 DVD. I look forward to learning a lot more about severe weather forecasting through this research. Thanks again!
oh yeah, and mods please move to appropriate section if needed
