April 2024 tornado total is now 316 (subject to change).. This makes it the 20th month on record that has had 300 or more tornadoes in the U.S., and the first 300+ one since 2019. I complied this from NCEI Storm Data and the NWUS21 KWNS/STAMTS product from SPC.
