I figure anything coming from a site with a .com in the URL is up for more harsh than usual scrutiny.
 
100 feet in 10 years seems like its well within the error of the measurements or natural variability. I don't think you can draw meaningful conclusions over such a small change in a fairly short (for climate) time period.
 
Maybe the sky is falling and Chicken Little was right! (wink/wink) In all seriousness however, if this were really true and a genuine development, perhaps it could influence LCL's and serve to enhance the encouragement of tornadoes in a most miniscule manner.

Chicken or the egg.

Maybe the significant tornado events over the last ten years have skewed the data because of lower LCL's. Regardless, pretty irrelevant and inconclusive data over a period in the earth's history that would be equivalent to a fraction of a second of a human life. It would be like me monitoring my heart for .0025 seconds and declaring myself dead because of no heart beat in that short period.
