Chase Case #8

Mike got it right, was 9/20/2000, with Xenia getting clobbered again.

If it was a real chase day, it would have still been a bust for me, since I decided to start the day fishing on the coast, thinking it wouldn't amount to anything. The ones who were pre-positioned in KY and WV would have had a much better shot. As I recall, this was a difficult forecast setup for this day anyway. A line of storms came through the area first (which can be seen on the surface maps), and it was their residual outflow boundaries that actually provided the trigger for the deadly Ohio storms. So if this was a real chase forecast setup, it's pretty doubtful that any of us would have made it - unless we're a chaser who lives in central Ohio.
