CHASE CASE #3

Well...I was hanging around in Kingman, Ks...think i'll remain close to there and see if anything materializes from these storms developing near the KS/OK border heading my way.

Got some anvils out west...time for action !! Will drift a bit west from Anthony and keep a watchful eye on these budding supercells. Looking at satellite, this case now does ring a bell. Going on silent mode now...lol

Assuming the storm is moving NE, I will intercept the storm currently in Mitchell County, KS somewhere between Marysville and Washington along 36. Its on! :D

Ah yes June 15th, gotta love the Palmer Divide on days like that. 4 tornadoes and absolutely no chaser convergence anywhere to be had. We had those tornadoes all to ourselves!
Yes, that was a very nice and unexpected surprise for sure!
I'm sitting here under my cell still in Belleville and it looks impressive. I will follow along with it but am keeping an eye to my south to see if something else is going to explode as well.

Well, seeing as thought I'm in Osborne, the convection in N Kansas probably initiated right on top of me. So I'll mosey back to the east with the cell just to the south of the KS/NE border. It is the southern-most storm in that small line so it should have unimpeded flow into the the storm. So hopefully that one will produce for me.

We are still in Harper, KS but will move west towards Medicine Lodge, KS to watch the developing cells along the dryline.

Guys, sorry for the lack of updates today, I was rushed to Adventist Bolingbrook hospital this morning just after posting the update and am on 6-7 different medicines. I will try to post the next update in an hour or two. Many of you are on the trail and I don't think you will be disappointed.

Geeze, Danny! What on earth happened? The fact that you've posted and are planning to proceed with the next set of maps tells me that you're okay, but don't push yourself if you're not up to snuff. A virtual chase can wait.

Headed south on US81 to Concordia, KS and then west on KS28 to intercept the beast in northern KS. Keeping a watchful eye both north and south of here for new or continued development.

I am on 6 different meds (32 pills-2 inhalers-1 nebulizer) I was taken to the hospital because I couldn't breathe. I have bronchitis and had an acute asthmatic reaction to something (I don't have asthma) and couldn't speak a full sentence or walk 5 steps without feeling like I was going to black out. I am on meds now and should be back in action. Stupid winter.....

22-24z update I will start now so look in 30-45 mins.
