I'm waiting to see what the official pressure readings were. Some of that buoy data seems skeptical, but then again there is more than one reporting sub-950mb readinds.

the big problem that I see is that all the bouys reporting the sub 950 lows...

1 were the same class of bouy
2 all failed(stopped transmitting pressure) at about the same value(940s)

the bouys that reported throughout seem to bottom out at about 960.

the buoys in question are the gomoos series.

three recorded abnormally low pressures of <28.0" and then stopped transmitting pressure

three more gomoos types failed in the low-mid 28s.

the two gomoos boys that transmitted throughout did not go below 28.4", nor did the CMAN or other moored buoys.
