Heat burst event in the Burlington, Colorado - Goodland, Kansas area.

GLD issued a severe thunderstorm warning on the evening of the 5th at 10:43PM.

UNTIL 1115 PM MDT...

AT 1040 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
AREA OF STRONG WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE WINDS WERE
ASSOCIATED WITH A THUNDERSTORM LOCATED NEAR GOODLAND...AND WAS
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. VERY LITTLE...IF ANY PRECIPITATION OR
LIGHTNING ARE EXPECTED AS THIS STORM PASSES. HOWEVER...SUDDEN WIND
GUSTS TO 60 MPH...AREAS OF BLOWING DUST AND A SHARP RISE IN TEMPERATURE
ARE EXPECTED.


LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GOODLAND AND EDSON.

There wasn't much, if anything on reflectivity at the time. While there was no wind damage reported, Burlington did have a 61mph gust. A decent heat burst was recorded at both KITR (Burlington, CO) and KGLD (Goodland, KS), including a few other mesonet stations.
