As you may know, storm season is reaching it's peak here in South America. Today, here in Southeastern Brazil, we a day full of severe storms, starting 6 a.m. and I can still see lightning in the horizon, very active day. Here are some of the pictures I shot today:

I'd never really thought about Brazil having a storm season - but it's good to know as myself and my boyfriend are starting our travels there at the end of this year. Hopefully around mid-November, before travelling around South America for 6 months. Maybe we'll catch the tail end of the storm season. What a bonus! Great pics by the way.

Great pictures! Especially the ones taken at night / eve. The blue sky and orange colored lights make for a great complementary contrast ;)
