• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Nice little treat this morning...

Had to take the 2nd vehicle(my chase vehicle) into the shop today. On my way back home the wife tuned into 101.3 KFDI here in Ict for some cow game that wins u money lol. She didnt get through :( but I never changed the station on my way to work. After I dropped her off at the house and headed for work, the morning show crew at KFDI did a great interview with Warren Faidley on the 5-4-07 event. They also got into Warren's background a little. It was a very special and rare treat for me since I grew up wanting to be just like Warren :) GJ on the interview Warren!!!

Way to go Warren :)

I kinda know what you mean Jordan, as Warren was amoung the first chasers, that I became aware of, along with Butch Phillips (Worked with Vince Miller from OKC), Howard Bluestein, Erik Rasmussen, Josh Wurman, Chuck Doswell, Tim Marshall, Gene Rhoden and many others :)

I'm glad that you got to enjoy the interview and maybe Warren will post it up on his site, if the oppertunity arrises :)

I remember Butch from some (UK) Channel 4 documentary in the 90s...there was some other guy who used to sit in a motel for the whole of the season, just in the hope that a storm would pass over.

Yes, that was a documentary that C4 did, called "Stormchasers", it was a part of the "Ecnounters" series of documentaries, on various nature related topics :)

The guy in the motel was, George Kucha, (I think that's the right spelling) he would make his own home movies of severe storms, also, they showed some footage of the Andover, KS, F5, from 4/26/91 and the other beastly wedge that tore through Laverne, TX, it was shown as the end credits were rolling :)

Willie (Beginning to feel old, from remembering that Documentary that was shown about 15 years ago :) lol)
