I know myself personally I would never try anything like that on my own without experience, or with an experienced chaser with me. Aside from hurricane chasing, I am yet to "bag" my first tornado. I have been on tornadic storms that have never produced, and the problem of never being able to get where the good storms are doesn't help either. Anyway, I feel like you can always learn from someone else, no matter what age you are or what experience level you have. I have always been alone, because I can't find a chase partner around here ( most people down here think you're an idiot when you mention storm chasing.) You are who you are and can do what you want to do, but my own opinion is to not do this alone. Now for my own quick pitch, anyone in the North Texas area, I really am looking for someone to ge more experience from, to chase with, and mainly learn some forecasting (limited knowledge there). Anyone out there send me a p.m. Alright, I'm done.
