Fall chase season?

My research just below is very specific for the Middle TN area or within the OHX CWA.

It covers dates from 5/1830 to 5/2009.

I went with individual tornadoes rather than tornado days; however, it must be noted that dates such as 4/3/1974, 5/6 and 5/7/1984, 5/18/1995 and 11/15/2005 had a high number of tornadoes for each date. There were a few other dates that I will not mention.

5/1830 - 5/2009
March, April, May - 347 or 66%
December, January, February - 85 or 16%
September, October, November - 66 or 12%
June, July, August - 48 or 9%

Wow, MikeG and Clarence, your data really tells the story. Thanks for compiling that.

I think I'll keep my batteries charged and hope the fall is a karmic balance for the so-so spring.
