Dorian is making liars out of some of the older computer models, and is showing significant potential If a shear pattern doesn't develop a few days down the road as some models say it will. Could be something to keep a close eye on.

Shear - Oh boy (not a word hurricane chasers wanna hear outside of May and the central USA) ;-(
Dorian IMO should degenerate into an open wave by 7/28 if not sooner. The Saharan Air Layer and shear just wont allow it to survive.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes the Atlantic to achieve favorable conditions this year.
