Discover Channel Tornado Special tonight

There was some incredible footage that made my jaw drop but overall the show was a little light on tanks.

imho.

I finally saw the show. Most of the video shown, I have seen before, some I have not.
As with most shows like this, they do a lot of quick shots, and cuts. I guess to imply excitement? Overall, I found it a good hour of TV, and strom watching, at least they avoided the swirling debris shots superimposed over video like a lot of other shows.
Hats off to all who contributed to the video

I saw this show for the 1st time tonight on Discovery Science. I was disapointed to see them use some very brief but unauthorized video of my own. However I have this video on youtube so I am partially to blame. I would ask anyone next season to not even deal with these people.

"Tornado Rampage"

I also have their email and phone number if anything happened to anyone else like this. They gave me no credit for the video even. It was like 2 seconds long but still. The show was pathetic.....they still think we just want to see things getting torn up and our pea brains cant handle the science of the whole situation.....or rather getting into the science of the whole thing would require some work on their part. They would rather copy video off youtube and push it on the air than try to put anything of quality out there.
I am sure the Stormchasers shows will be better on Discovery altho I am a bit turned off by some of the chosen chasers tactics....as alot of other well known meteorologists are and chasers are. TV wants action action action tho.....and screw the science behind it......but we shall see....hopefully its done...and i think it will be...alot better than "Tornado Rampage". Just my opinions tho.....if ya disagree.....then just think to yourself...."I disagree..." dont email me hate mail.....

Was on discovery channel at 2am

Was reading this post, and just for yucks flipped to discovery channel. Tornado Rampage was playing. Discovery is going to have a lot of tornado related shows between now and the Sunday premiere of the new season of Storm Chasers. This shows seems to be a low budget show as the seem to have used a lot of older footage including the 1991 Andover and Kansas Turnpike shot. Of course, they had the CEO of WeatherData Services right after that clip say the a ditch is the place to go...not the bridge girder.

Anyway...other than more recent chaser video I wasn't that impressed with the show.
