The Central Plains Severe Weather Symposium is next Saturday, anyone on here going to be there?

Chris Wilburn and I will be there, and possibly Tyler Costantini.

I'll be there with my wife Katie, I'm a UNL met student. I'll probably have our chase vehicle on display for a while, it'll be the bronze/grey Blazer looking like a Best Buy exploded in it.

My bet it is a chase day, though not so sure how good of one.

Hey Mike if you end up chasing that day someone needs to bring down some of your vids to sell.Heck i'll even do it for ya.

lol, ever since I did the one I was always thinking I'd enjoy it more if I made up a bunch and let someone else do it and keep half the money(it paid fairly well the day I did it). I don't think I'd have enough time this week to make up a bunch. Not just that but I really don't feel I have much to sell with such a crappy year last year(for me), and having been there once with 2004 and 101. Thanks for the offer.

Well, I don't know what time we will be getting into Lincoln or what motel we'll be staying at.. if any other chasers are there and want to meet up and get together Friday night let me know.

I'm a grad student at UNL and I've been helping in the organization of the Symposium. Let me know if anyone wants/needs any info on local hotels. Some people have gathered afterwards and stayed at the Chase Suites (suitable name for chasers obviously) which is a few miles from the Symposium location but it always gets great reviews.

I'm close enough that I'll be driving in and out on Saturday, but if you have some tips on parking I'd be most appreciative. :D

Parking is available right beside Hardin Hall I believe and there should be someone directing traffic, so no walking long distances like last year. Words to the wise, if you know for sure that you'll be attending I suggest that you get there early as people show up before everything officially gets underway. I have no idea what you can do for parking if you don't get into Hardin Hall parking lot, which a rough guess would have 150 parking places.

Do not attempt to park within the East Campus confines because I can say for certain that parking services and/or campus police will be around.

I have a meeting tomorrow with the Symposium Chair so I give everyone more details tomorrow night.

A couple of chasers are wanting to get together Friday night for a chaser get together, any places you recommend?

If the Hardin Hall lot is full just park on the Side streets to the west of the building, the streets would be like the area just North of 32nd and Holderage it will get you closer to Hardin Hall then most of the lots on Campus, its were I park when I go to class. There is also side street parking to the south of the Hardin hall that is pretty close.
