• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Hey Jeff & Jason im at Dave's world too! Gonna hang out here for a bit. Thinking of heading east and then heading south with the front but will hang a bit more here.

It needs to be a little hotter out and have a little less wind blowing...yeeesh. I keep going out and shooting hoops and wondering if it just too hot to chase(since my car ac kicks off when I stop moving). I see no hopeful signs from here. I'm now wondering about the area near Hastings. It would be nice to see more sfc obs in that area. Yikes 100/70 in se IA. Of course it isn't much different right here at the moment.

Severe box for IA now.

You can see the boundary on Omaha's radar now sinking south about on Tekemah. I'm starting to be pulled to that n-s line on Satellite near Hastings.

Storm parked over I-25 near Castle Rock has a 70DBz core on it. Severe warned at the moment with possible quarter sized hail and what I would image to be INSANELY torrential rain.

well i decided to try and go after the cell north west of Audubon IA but well im sitting here in Audubon and decided screw this. every things crap right now. maybe i can try for some lightning later tonight

I was on that SVR warned storm in Greene county, and it wasn't worth the gas I burned. I've pulled the plug and am heading back to Omaha.

hey way at me when you go by Walnut if you take I 80 back. i called it as well. But now i see a few small cells starting to devlope due north of me so i might try some getting some Iowa Lightning.

Well after the front passed Omaha I decided to throw in the towel. Now im back in Onawa and noticing improvement/redevelopment of the line of storms here. Might as well chase 'em!
