• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

That's a snapshot though from over an hour ago - you need to modify for current and/or forecast conditions.

Um that concection is actually looking to be on the front. Front ain't exactly that easy to see or defined. That could prove interesting...hmmmm.... Holding out a bit longer here.

Blair, eh? I was just through there. Very alarming amount of construction. I'm currently "borrowing" wireless access in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn Express in Fremont. If that Sioux City storm gets better, l think l may head that way.

Yes, I agree that it's getting very tempting to tear north right now.

I think our cape is fine. If those storms continue to strengthen watch for them to drop se if not sse. Man, I can see all the chasers now on I-29....lol.

Scratch that, those are trucking ne, likely elevated at the moment. Sitting back down now......lol

Returns wanting to get more agitated between Lincoln and Columbus. The river IS going to get some folks today, I know it...

Well, just stopped for gas on the western fringes of Omaha. It's not looking too promising, but the moisture is definitely here. The dog is dying, lol. If we don't see anything exciting start to happen by the time we get to Lincoln, we will continue onto my "home" in Ness. I think I passed Ben on I80, weird antenna in the back?

Anyway, the action may be north if there's no clearing in this area. If anyone is tooling down 80 between Kearney and Omaha, give a shout on 146.55 or .52. I'll be listening.

Tim

You may find that you could end up further north than you ever expected! There is some action firing up along the SK/MAN/ND/MN borders.

"Funnel Cloud Watch" has been issued on the Canadian side of the border. Maybe this will turn out to be a busy day all over the northern plains. It will have to get juicier for me to fill up my gas tank though. Maybe I will think about it after a snack.
