Looks like we've got that right-mover that Stertz was looking for......the Broscoe County storm is now beginning to make a more NE track, moving into better dynamics.....0-1 SRH are the best in this vicinity, and climbing, as well as a bullseye area for the 1 km EHI. Whoever is on this one should have some great views about now....with a tube on the ground.

If you loop the SRV1 data you will see a very nice rotation at the lowest level. This rotation is the tornado that's on the ground. The tornado/rotation is moving more E or ENE than anything. NWS did a great job with the TOR warning and also the deviant motion from the inital storm track.

Also, the visibility of this tornado should be excellent as it appears it is far removed from the main rain/hail area.

The storm north of Floydada, TX just split, too. The left split is racing up towards the Silverton right-split; it should be interesting to see if this disrupts the Silverton storm or changes the Silverton storm's mode.

It looks like this has indeed become the case. The northern edge of the left split of the Floydada cell has now come in contact with the southern edge of the right split of the Silverton cell.

Edit: However on the last scan the reflectivities just surged and it appears that the silverton cell is going to just ingest the aforementioned left split and continue on towards Silverton proper. 2.75 inch hail estimated on the latest scan.

Cells along the dryline in extreme E. CO are now finally getting their act together. Still pretty high-based over here, but that's never stopped this area from having incredibly photogenic tubes out on the plains. Waiting for better destabilization further E, where better parameters lie. I would guess it's now just a matter of time until those storms near Colby also get going......getting some better forcing, Hang in there, Wilcox!

EDIT: Rapid intensification of the cell(s) just south of Colby, with a small merger of the two main updrafts happening soon. Another tower has blown up just south of this one, as well. The Kansas action looks to be picking up for real now. These cells look like the main plays for now.

The smaller southern cell NNW of Floydada, TX now also appears to be developing a hook on its SW flank and there is some evidence of this on the BR1 scan.

EDIT: This particular cell has just become tor warned in response to this.

The couplet of the stronger northern cell is headed right for Silverton and should be approaching it within the next couple of minutes.

Tyler Costatini and Chris Wilburn just entered northern Donley County in Texas making their way south to intercept the tornadic storm in Briscoe Co.

Low level rotation couplet now showing up 5.8nm SW of Silverton. Bottom two tilts 3700-5600ft do indeed look like a possible tornado. Floydada storm now showing rotation and developing hook in upper low levels/lower mid-levels.

Both sups looking pretty good in Briscoe and Floyd Co. I like the the southern cell the best. Shouldnt have to fight from getting cut off like the storm in Briscoe Co.

Nice LL rotations seen on this Silverton cell with 40-50kt g2g shear on the tilt-2, also showing a TVS and trained spotter has 2nd report of tornado being on the ground for several minutes now.

If the latest NWS warning report for Briscoe Co. is accurate, this circulation/TOR should be doing damage about now in Silverton. Hope I'm wrong.

Northern Area: Cell S. of Colby still rapidly intensifying. It too needs to get a more NE motion to it to really produce. Still riding on the western-most edge of some really good convective parameters. Chasers who have been sitting N. of I-70 holding out should be getting treated here shortly.

Watching storms in Kansas rapidly become severe, will be taking off very soon and going south on highway 25 to intercept storms that will be entering Hitchcock County Nebraska in an hour or so.

It's interesting to note that the boundary these storms fired along near and north of lubbock has now retreated west about 30 miles. I am wondering if this could become an issue for these storms.

Have virtually relocated to Seiling, OK, ESE of Woodward, to anticipate development on the inflow side of the old Shamrock cell(s) running my way. All in all, though, I'd say Silverton was the place to be today. Congrats to all!

Cell S of Colby looks very good on radar. Also showing signs of rotation at the mid levels. If in fact this thing right turns in the next 20 min Colby will be in the cross hairs of this monster.

Edit: Storm now starting to hook and mesocyclone is visable on radar. This thing is going to go tornadic invof I-70 in between Goodland and Colby in Thomas Co.
