June 12, 2004 - just north of Rock, KS (and just south of where I lived at the time, Doulgass, KS). I would have gotten a shot of the Mulvane tornado if the camera wasn't in the trunk and if there wasn't active CG lightning.
Mine is of the moon during total lunar eclipse. I believe it was the first part of March 2008, and I know for sure it was extremely cold, -2F If my memory serves correctly.
Mine is of me as well, and I took it after a medicine lesson when I still attended the university in Policlinico of Milano Hospital. I had my Gibson Sg guitar with me (I had to play with my band in the afternoon) so I did a little show after lesson in the classroom.
Thought I would change my avatar since I'm no longer an active poker player in local tournaments. Got too obsessed with playing poker 3-4 times a week. I had to take a three month leave of absence from poker to get this addictive habit kicked!! I'm only playing online poker games from time to time.
Since I'm a Nebraska Cornhusker fan and my favorite team is playing in the Holiday Bowl tomorrow, I changed my avatar to Herb, the Husker Mascot. This is actually an older version of the mascot from years ago.
I have attached a shot of what the current Husker mascot looks like now. Go Big Red!!
Kerry Park, on top of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, WA. A popular tourist attraction with a breathtaking view of the city skyline and Mt. Rainier in the background. I took this photo in February of '07 (I think.)
July 13th, 2009. middle of nowhere, South Dakota (actually probably about 5 miles south of Midland, SD). This isn't the to-be Valentine monster, it is the base the severe warned storm just to the north.
