Can the supporter tag be an escape from noobdom? Even "Supporting Noob" to raise awareness of the value of keeping the site alive.

I like everything else about the new layout though!

@James Hyde @Jeremy Perez We eventually would like to have something of our own hosted here that we can add to/change as needed. The extra benefit of that is that those terms can be hotlinked into the forum as James pointed out. Right now it's just an issue of manpower.

If it's a question of manpower I'd be happy to donate some time to developing it. I have a little bit of forum and wiki experience in the past. Shouldn't be too hard to create with the info already out there.

You can change your title! Everyone is 'Noob' by default (to this forum reincarnation!) but can go into user preferences and change it. I'm the internet fixxer.

there is no option for this in my user cp settings anywhere. You'll most likely need to change the permissions in the Admin Settings to allow all users to change their titles.

The Add This bar was added last night on the left side there. We're trying to make it work on all browsers and platforms so it doesn't cover up the thread titles. What browser are you using?

Firefox v35. I see there is a semi-opaque arrow that appears when my mouse is near it, that lets me temporarily hide it, however, as soon as you go to a new page or thread or refresh, it shows back up.

I'd rather not see it. If you guys can figure a way to let each user set their settings accordingly, that would be great. or make a way a user can permanently get rid of it if they don't want to see it, that would be fine as well. It's annoying and distracting and serves no useful purpose in my opinion.

This. I have never and will never use either of these on any web site, and both are distracting me from the content that I actually came here for.

why is it asking me to "insert" and "review" posts I want to quote?

can this be disabled to where you just click on the messages you want to quote and hit reply and it automatically inserts the posts? rather than having to do all of this extra work?

If this has already been mentioned, my apologies. But how about the ability to edit your posts? My fat finger syndrome sometimes flares up. :)

It looks like it has a time limit on how long you can edit a post. I noticed I could edit a post for a few minutes, but then after browsing a few threads and coming back to it, the edit option was gone.
