Just had a chance to check the new ST site out... from what I have seen so far I love it. plan on finding my way around more in the next few days since things should be back to normal after mom had her surgery and is almost back to 100%. looking forward to the 2015 chase season!! have a feeling it will be an interesting and exciting one after this wild ride this winter in the midwest/great lakes area

I like the look of the forum but am bummed that it no longer works with Tapatalk for iOS, that was a much better, more robust way to interact with the forum on an iPad or iPhone.

One thing that I think is pretty awesome -- the fact that the forum supports TLS connections. I'm one of those guys that thinks that all interwebs traffic should be using some form of strong crypto. Kudos!

Love the new layout and thank all of you that helped bring the new face to ST. Kudos! btw, any update on the social media buttons overlapping the left side of the forums? I've seen a number of complaints about them but haven't seen it addressed lately.

I hope they bring it back, because I hate trying to post from my Samsung Galaxy S3. it's maddening, and drives me nuts, and I dont even get on the forum from my phone anymore because it's so annoying, slow and frustrating.

Thanks for that info Hannah. I was about to inquire directly of a moderator/admin but I will hold off and see what happens. Like I said in my post, Tapatalk is a much more robust interface on an iPad, but, similar to you, I wouldn't even bother trying to access the Stormtrack website from my iPhone.

We're presently exploring the options of bringing this back on the new site, due to popular demand. Personally, I don't know what that entails from a technical point of view, but the more tech savvy side of the team is exploring the ease of integration with the new platform here, costs, etc. - stay tuned.

I haven't participated in ST for a while now due to various reasons but thought I would check out the updated site. I'm glad to see it finally getting some much needed attention! It will be interesting to see how the content flows this spring.

I'm still looking around, but the social media side bar annoys the heck out of me. It's very distracting. I'm on a Mac (Yosemite) using Safari 8.0.3 if that helps.

As soon as I find the link to view New Posts I'll be in good shape
