NOAA Tornado Data: 2016 One of the Quietest Years Since Records Began

A slow year for severe weather in general...but I wasn't chasing due to family matters...so for me it was good timing.

Damn right it was a quiet year for severe weather. It's crazy to think that 2011 was the last year that wasn't below average.

Spent more money and had the least amount of action in a month (June) than I ever would have believed possible. But.....that's chasing. The two years prior to 2016 were some of the best in my entire career. You newbs that might happen to read this, just know that there WILL BE years like this. It's hard not to complain and wail about it...it really is....but a "chaser's chaser" will keep from doing that too much and keep cool about it, because you'll know that it'll all balance out with some monster days that you'll witness, too.
