Ok so I was skeptical about mounting to the hood. So as crazy as i am i did and put my canon gl2 up there and it held like me from the edge of the eiffel tower!!! Then mounted my new toy on the side check it out. Thumbs up Hank good call! Btw dont you carry those???? lol

Where the pivot points are on the arm, it looks like you could easily mount to a windshield (inside the car) and be able to angle the camera to have a good view facing outside. I would definitely have to do some other modifications so I know it would stay place though. Looks like a good mount to me.
