• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Has anyone seen a tornado in every month?

Who on here owns the record for seeing tornadoes in the most months?
(we're talking live action here -- on video doesn't count ;) )

I'm doubting we have many -- really, any -- with 12 months under their belts.

I've seen one in April, and that's it.

And you? (we'll get the obvious months -- but it'll be interesting to hear adventures from the "off season")

(FWIW, I've always enjoyed the idea of bagging a tornado in an odd month, or odd local... seems like much more an accomplishment)

I've seen tornadoes in: Feb, Mar, Apr, May, June, & Sept.

The first tornado I have ever seen (not exactly chasing) was in April of 2001 if I remember right.

My first major (F2+) tornadic intercept was on Sept 16 2006 in SE South Dakota. My most memorable chase that wasn't even "in season".

We did this one not that long ago(think this year) but it was within another kind of post I think. I think Reed Timmer was the closest...not very shocking. Think he was only missing one or two months. You'd think someone out there would have it, but I really wouldn't be surprised if no one does.

I've got... March, April, May, June, July, August, October, and November. Shouldn't be too hard to add February and September, but man those other two will be tough.

April, May, June, July, and December for me. In fact, my first chase tornado was December 23, 1996. Took down some big trees and unroofed a couple houses, while leaving Christmas decorations on a nearby fence untouched.

I'm halfway there, with one very difficult month outta the way (January). Might take the rest of my life but I can get them all....cause I've missed tornadoes in all the months I don't have yet :-)

At this point I am at: Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Jun/Jul/Aug/Sep/Oct/Dec...The December tornado wasn't on a chase, it was Dec 5th, 1975, when I was still a wee lad in Tulsa...watched it from a neighbors driveway in my jammies.

July, August, and December are my last ones remaining at least for my chase career. I am hoping to get July and August out of the way this year if I can get one of those good nw flow type events up in Iowa, South Dakota, or Minnesota. December would mean a risky trip to Arkansas (where I did get a few decent January tornadoes back in 1999 I might add).

Months with a tornado:
January (1/28/06)
March
April
May
June
September (9/10/99)
November (11/27/05)

Months without a tornado:
February
July
August
October
December
