• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Went browsing through my collections tonight and came across these. This was after the December 1st storm last year. Some drifts were around 6' tall and had some of the coolest wind carvings I have ever seen. The night these were taken the sky was unbelievably crisp and clear and the half moon made it feel like daylight. Anyone else have any in their collections? Hopefully I'll get another chance this year.

I have many more, but these two were my favorites.

Hey nice pics man.

Maybe after the snow this weekend there'll be some decent drifts to shoot. Even though we'll only get 3-4" of snow, that should be enough to pile up some decent drifts out in the country due to the dry nature of the snow and the 25mph+ winds expected.

Ok mine are nowhere near as good as yours, but here they are. These were from a February snow event but I forget the exact date.

drift pics

Nice pictures everybody.

I have a few drift shots from the recent 10 inch snowfall we got here in Western IN. These are the best shots i got with my Kodak P712 7.1MP.

This is my driveway, a 4ft drift covered it for two days.

Not the greatest shots but it was a neat winter storm. Lots of snow sculptures in the snow drifts, neat stuff.

Hope you enjoyed,

Well, just like Jason, this picture is from the December snow storms of last year here in Denver. You can just see the mirror and the antenna of that car!

These were taken in Denver last December like Jason and Justin posted above. My friends and I were skiing and had to stay an extra day (shucks!) because I-70 was closed. There were measurements of over 24" near Devner... it was an incredible sight.
