I thought I'd remind the list that this Saturday, February 19th, 2005 is the annual Dallas County SKYWARN Spotter Talk, which will be held as per tradition at the Granville Arts Center in Garland (search on MapQuest for 300 N 5th St Garland, TX 75040-6352).
The event will be held from 8.30am to 2.00pm. This is a great place to meet and mingle prior to the big TESSA event on the following Saturday February 26th.
It is also worth noting that Al Moller makes a habit of talking at this Garland event every year - something not to be missed if you are in the area!!
A few of us occasionally try to form a lil' lunch group, too, after this event - although it can be hard when others have prior commitments or shift work.
