• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Chaser get together this Friday in Lincoln?

Any chasers going to the Central Plains Severe Storm Symposium going to get into Lincoln Friday and stay the night?

If so, would anyone be up for meeting up somewhere and have a chaser get together?

We plan on leaving Pittsburg early in the afternoon - so I would say we'll probably get into town around 5-6PM.

I've been helping organize the CPSWS this year and I believe some chasers are staying at the Chase Suites which located at 200 South 68th Place, a few miles to the southeast of where the Symposium is being held.

Not sure on the availability of rooms and this close to the Symposium beware that prices could be on the high side (>$90 a night)

Let me know if anyone wants more info/directions for it.

Will you guys have access to internet?

If so, once we get there Chris Wilburn or I will hop on here to let ya know where we are staying and find a place to meet up.

Chris Wilburn and I are leaving early in the afternoon today and heading up to Lincoln Nebraska. With the threat of severe weather Saturday, there is a possibility that Chris and I will decide to chase instead of attending the Central Plains Severe Weather Symposium.

For you guys who will also be in Lincoln, give me a shout 620-249-9758 and we can meet up somewhere.

I was planning on going but im passing this time around , because of the chase op, i was going to go see evanescence again after i just saw them lastnight but i think ill save my $ for the chase ops this weekend and next weekend..
