This post is a little late but better than never I guess!
I did not actually "chase" anything but rather came across a lot of wx related stuff. The storm which started around 3PM on the 23rd was forecast to turn into a rain event by 12AM on the 24th in the Toronto area, but enhanced lifting and and stronger cold air damming than expected produced a good 6 - 8 inches of snow across the region and delayed the change over to IP/ZR until about 5AM. The city already had over a 15 - 20 inches of snow on the ground in most places including a number of unplowed side streets so this storm really pushed things but garanteed us a white x-mas.
