06/07/07 NOW: IA/MN/WI/MI/IL/IN/KS/MO/OK/TX/AR

The far, far nothern part of that cell is passing just south of the house here. The cell is moving into a rather favorable environment and could maintain its strength indefinetly. It looks as if the boundary coupled with lower-level convergence should maintain the severe threat to the ENE for at least a bit, with CAPE of 1500+ J/kg. The last couple of returns don't look that impressive and few damage reports are being received thus far.
 
The bow echo seems to be falling apart, as it is much less visually impressive on radar and ILX canceled the severe t-storm warning. However, a new cell seems to be erupting just west of the tail end of the bow echo southeast of Quincy. That might be something to watch if it stays isolated and doesn't go linear right off the bat.
 
Storms beginning to fire just behind the cold front between Ponca City and Tulsa near Stillwater. Looks like the front itself is entering the northwestern side of OKC. Hope they've got time to get going before the front is south of us...
