SPC has issued a Tornado Watch for the Southern Plains and Big Country areas in TX. Thought I would open a NOW thread for TX.
A few discrete cells have popped up in a E-SE line from Lubbock, TX. One cell located between Post and Rule TX has the following parms according to wunderground.com:
C0 63 dBZ 46,000 ft. 73 kg/m² 90% chance 100% chance 2.50 in. 8 knots N (359)
Folks thats baseball sized hail (2.50 inch)!!
EDIT: Originally, this thread was started for TX, OK, KS & MO. Later it was expanded to IL & IN. I was gone when the SWWs were expanded to OH. thanks for the changes, MODS!!
