Just noticed a Tornado Watch Issued 2135z for portions of the above States.
Wonder wether any People Streaming today - Maybe Steve or Kory have some Live Feeds.

Single Cell just west of Kansas City just gone up.

Storms near Kansas City and the Quad Cities are now SVR warned. I looked at the RUC earlier and it indicated an EHI max around 50 miles north of COU at 2Z. I would think with the cluster now intensifying around the KC area that might be the place to go. Unfortunately, I had too much to do to head out for a short-window opportunity that far away.

NAM model earlier showed some potential in far SE IA, though shear was weak on the model. CAPE was in the 1000 range.

Right now, the sun is peaking out and I can feel the dew point creeping up in Burlington.

Big problem with chasing the storms so far is they have been moving very quickly.

Nice couplet showing up on that MO beast. Adam Lucio showing some very interesting images on live cam. Thought it was on the ground briefly.

New cell trying to develope North of Clinton, OK as well. I can see the towers going up from my yard here in Coldwater, KS.

Tornado reported 8 mi. NNE of Mexico, MO at 8:04 p.m.

EDIT: Still on the ground just NE of Ladonia at 8:14 p.m.

The tornado mentioned in the last post was reported to be still on the ground. Was near to Vandalia in Audrain County at 8:19PM CDT

Also new tornado warning for Lincoln County and Pike County in MO until 9PM CDT

Since the precipitation core of the supercell that has generated most of the discussion tonight has now entered IL, we can now say that this single supercell has crossed the entire state of MO - and it still has both a TOR warning and a SVR warning.

Kind of which I had gone out now - although much of the action has been after dark, the first tornado, which occurred in daylight, happened very close to the location I mentioned in my first post above, which is where I would have gone. Oh well - if it holds together it will pass within 10 to 20 miles north of here, so maybe I can get some lightning shots at least. Squall line may catch up with it by then, though.
