If I didnt have the flu and had my required AES spotter training tonight at 7pm I would be out playing right now. Still nice to hear thunder and see some nice towers.

I just pulled a cross section on the large cell in TX - Looks pretty impressive, at least size-wise -

I haven't checked out the atmospheric setup, but it appears that the storm's mean motion is northeast, perhaps along a boundary. The boundary appears to be slowly sliding to the northwest, which is causing the storm to "backbuild" northwest, while maintining the mean northeast motion. Overall, the storm doesn't look too organized, and has plenty of outflow...

712 PM: Report of Softball Size in Taylor County, 8 miles southwest of Abilene, Texas

EDIT: Tornado Warning now for SW Coleman County, NE Concho County and NW MC Culloch County until 830 PM CST.

Two very nice looking supercells south of Abilene... Very nice low-level (0.5degree) couplet! The left-mover moving north-northeastward looks to be bowing out very nicely now, heading into OUN's western north Texas domain. Is this an OMEN?! Hopes to hoping!

Did somoeone save radar loop of this good left mover?

I caught it on KSJT radar: http://69.14.190.10/images/KSJT_ANIMATION/...N/anistest.html

I don't mind if you go into the directory ( http://69.14.190.10/images/KSJT_ANIMATION/ ) and save all of the files locally and upload them to another website, but please don't link directly to my site (as it's not a 24 hour 'always on' server).
