Your Best Lightning Shot to date...

These were from my first attempt to take lightning pictures at night. I think the first one is the best I've done, the facebook likes disagree. Need to work on focus in the future. And mine look bad against the amazing shots above but I'm proud of them!

This is mine...with the assistance of high dynamic range. It was one of those 'lucky shots' more than anything. It is nothing like the shots above my post, obviously but I am proud on it nonetheless, I am just not as skilled as you all are! :)

I've never seen this thread before, very cool stuff. I shouldn't even include my pictures on here because the quality doesn't even compare to the pics that everyone else has posted in here, but what the hell, they are just iPhone video captures of lightning that I got. I enjoy lightning a lot, although it scares the hell out of me while chasing.

It's a tie for me:
July 3, 2014, the day I finally photographed lightning in daylight after six years of trying, using one of them fancy lightning triggers. The reaction the video caught is kinda funny, hearing myself freak out after catching the bolt on a still.
View media item 953May 21, 2015, the first time I got a CG smack dab in the middle of frame.
View media item 954Also from May 21, 2015. Although this is far from my best photo of lightning, I still think the comet trails are kinda nifty (albeit distracting). This is what happens when you run from one side of the house to another during a long exposure.
View media item 955All pictures taken from my Connecticut home on a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with the standard 18-55mm kit lens (I'm a starving college student who can't afford other lenses). And this is my first post on Stormtrack, so... hello.
