You know you're a storm chaser when...

every time you see a tornado you get really excited and you start hating your family!

Every time you get a wedgie you think of a strong tornado

Instead of getting drunk you go chase tornadoes and then get drunk

You use your kid's hamster as a skateboard

You know you are a chaser when...

* The "Chase What Matters" bank advertising slogan sends you into deep philosophical thinking about chasing strategy and your risk-reward requirements for driving a thousand miles on a particular day.

* Your passion only grows for chasing storms every year and regardless of your where you are in your life, finances, career or relationships you always find a way to get out on the plains and witness as many of those amazing storms as you can every springtime.

Here's looking forward to an outstandng chase season this May and June...best of luck to all of us!

You call in sick to work, and they ask you if you're going storm chasing!

...you constantly are looking at flags while driving, doing trigonometry to figure out if the surface winds are backed

...speaking of backed, you get excited when a S wind becomes SSSSSSSE

... your mom is used to Mother's Day calls with sirens in the background

Well I hope this isn't to appropriate and I'm sorry if it is, but I am sure people have heard it before. You know your a storm chaser when you friends accuse you of probably looking at the weather rather than a playboy to get where you need to get.

When you've been through Jayton at 11:00 PM more times than you care to remember.

When you know that Lamesa, TX is pronounced Lameeeesa.

You think that Tulia is a great place....

You remember Alan Moller's Tarrant County Skywarn classes from the 1980's (and you even enjoyed his flower photos)

You get an iPhone just so you can get radar and SPC updates in business meetings

Weather Radio Goes Off!!

Hey I have a doozy for you:

...when your morning alarm is not your clock, but the weather radio that got activated by an alert tone...WAAHHHH  LJK.

.you constantly are looking at flags while driving, doing trigonometry to figure out if the surface winds are backed

Yes i do that all the time that is great

...You own more than 10 wx/storm chase related t-shirts :)

...and in almost any chase related photo you're in, you are wearing them, despite the fact they are from the 2003 Colorado Storm Chase convention (as the National event was called back then), and the shirt is beyond faded and might even have a hole or two in it.
